API monitoring

Monitor REST and JSON APIs: assert on status code, latency, response headers and body content, from multiple regions, with alerts that confirm before paging.

An API that returns 200 OK with {"error":"upstream timeout"} is down, and a monitor that only checks the status code will never tell you.

What you can assert on

• Status code, including "any 2xx" and explicit allow-lists.
• Response time, with a slow-but-up warning state.
• Body content — required text, or absent text.
• Custom request headers and methods, for authenticated endpoints.

Multi-region

Checks run from more than one location and a failure is confirmed elsewhere before it becomes an alert.
